About Flooring Tomball: The Plan Is Settled on Paper First

We install hardwood, vinyl, tile, laminate and carpet inside homes across Tomball and the surrounding area. Before any material is ordered, you get a written quote that lists the scope, the prep and what moves the price, so you know what the job includes before we start.

Why we put everything in writing

Most flooring frustrations start with something nobody mentioned. The old tile that has to be chipped up. The slab that needs leveling. The baseboards that come off and go back on. We would rather talk about those things at the start, while you can still decide, than at the end when the floor is half down.

So every job begins with your floors as they are today. We measure each room, check the subfloor for flatness and moisture, look at doorways, transitions and stairs, and ask how you actually use the space. Then we write it down: the material, the square footage including cut waste, removal and disposal, prep work, trim, and any condition that could change the price, explained in plain terms.

That written quote becomes the plan our installers work from. If we lift an old floor and find something that changes the work, we stop, show you what we found, and explain your options. Nothing is added to the job without your say.

What you can expect from us

Prep gets its own line

Many homes around Tomball sit on concrete slabs, and in a humid climate a slab can hold moisture that wood and laminate will not forgive. We test before we quote, and leveling, moisture barriers and underlayment appear as separate items. You see what keeps your new floor flat and quiet, and why it is there.

Advice that fits the room

We install nine kinds of flooring, so we have no reason to push one. We will tell you when luxury vinyl plank suits a busy kitchen better than hardwood, or when carpet tile makes more sense in a playroom than broadloom.

Care inside your home

We cover the paths we walk, contain dust when tile comes up, and haul the old flooring away. Furniture moving and cleanup are discussed up front, so you know what to expect on install day.

Attention at the edges

A floor is judged where it meets everything else. Door jambs are undercut, transitions are chosen to match heights, stair nosings are fitted snugly, and baseboards go back on cleanly.
